In this documentary project, I explored the lives and work of local farmers on the Caribbean island of Tortola. Through intimate portraits, the film captures the stories of individuals from diverse backgrounds who are united by a shared mission: to provide sustainable, regional, and healthy food alternatives in a landscape increasingly dominated by U.S.-imported supermarket goods. These farmers are not only cultivating crops but also cultivating change—challenging the status quo, reconnecting communities with their land, and inspiring a movement toward food sovereignty and well-being across the island.
